Since the 2020 game Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, the highly successful series that has been running since 2007 has yet to continue. Ubisoft A few years ago, I pulled the handbrake and stopped the annual sequels, dropping less to the expected level. The reboot was particularly good for the series and the last three episodes were already more successful than their predecessors.
In the recent period, it has been possible to hear more and more that the next game is already in the pipeline, and various information has begun to leak out. One of them was the title of the new episode Assassin’s Creed Mirage The events will take place in Baghdad, and the protagonist will be Bassem, whom the Valhalla players may know well. Bassem does not become an assassin at the beginning of the game, he is just a thief who discovers The Hidden Ones – they form the Brotherhood of Assassins later. He also heard that the game will be more similar to the first episodes of the franchise, that is, instead of a massive open-world role-playing game, we will get a game that is more focused on the story.
Ubisoft at the moment officially confirmed, that the above rumors almost correspond to reality, that is, a game with this title is already being made. It also turns out that Ubisoft Forward, scheduled for September 10, will be specifically about the Assassin’s Creed franchise, where Mirage and Infinity (the live AC service that Ubisoft has been working on for a long time) will also be highlighted. ■
