The Crew-8 mission astronauts returned to Earth after 235 days in space. The four astronauts landed on the coast of Florida on October 25, at 9:29 a.m. Galactic time, aboard one of SpaceX's Crew Dragon spacecraft. The crew arrives at NASA live feed.
Crew-8 mission members – Matthew Dominic, Michael Barratt, Janet Epps and Alexander Grebenkin – They departed for the International Space Station (ISS) at the beginning of March. According to original plans, their mission was to last until October 7, and the members of the team that replaced them arrived at the station on September 29.
Due to the natural disaster, NASA and SpaceX postponed the return to October 13, but the morning before departure, the space company announced that it would postpone the date again. They cited unfavorable weather conditions as the reason for the decision, which led to October 23 being set as the new date. They also separated from the International Space Station with their spacecraft at 11:05 pm that day. Thus, the Crew-8 crew remained in space more than two weeks longer than planned.

However, during this time, they are not waiting to return home with folded hands, but are doing serious work as members of the Crew-9 mission. Exactly what their work consists of can be found in our article below:
