Astronomers are puzzled by the mysterious phenomenon that does not fit within the Milky Way Galaxy

For example, scientists have now discovered a mysterious object in our Milky Way Galaxy that simply does not fit the criteria of any object within the galaxy. The research team found an object emitting microwaves, indicating that the object contains fast-moving dust and gas moving at a speed of approximately 112,000 miles per hour in a very small area in the heart of our galaxy.

Space researchers have already identified a number of possibilities as to what this object might be, a From the black hole From a collapsed cloud to an evolving star, but neither option offers a truly satisfactory explanation. As is Astrophysical Journal LettersAs explained in a study published in the journal, depending on the location of the object's discovery, it is likely that something new has been discovered:

“The center of our galaxy contains billions of stars, tens of millions of gas masses, a supermassive black hole, a tenth of the galaxy's constantly forming stars, and an extensive stellar graveyard, making it the most likely place to find a new class of objects.”

They explained that the object named G0.02467-0.0727 was discovered at the Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Observatory (ALMA) in Chile, and all of the above options were ruled out because, as they put it, these conceptual models are not consistent enough. With the discovery or its full explanation – that is, it does not quite fit into any of them.

The object was discovered in the so-called central molecular zone (CMZ), which is located in the center of our galaxy and has a diameter of about 700 light-years. In the galaxy It hosts about 80 percent of the dense gases present. Within the CMZ there are massive molecular clouds and massive star formation hotspots that are currently under discovery. We don't have enough information about this region yet.

Scientists discovered that the object was emitting microwaves, and based on the dust surrounding it, it could also be determined that it was widespread. Furthermore, persistent radiation from the object can be detected, as well as signs of carbon monsulphide and sulfur monoxide, the former having already been observed in molecular clouds and the latter on one of Jupiter's moons.

It's not traditional

The temperature of the gas is estimated at around -236 degrees Celsius, which is much colder than what has been discovered in this part of our galaxy so far. On the other hand, according to other research, there are indications that gas molecules do not fly out in a traditional ring shape, so some researchers believe that an exploding star could be the explanation – but in the case of the object, the materials that are released during the shock waves that follow the explosion Undetectable.

One recent explanation given by scientists, which they believe is plausible, is that a temporary supermassive black hole has been created, and as an additional clue, there is also the fact that two stars are currently merging, which is currently obscured by dust. However, they added that this object doesn't quite fit these explanations either, so it could be considered a particularly strange discovery.
