At the Olympic Games he confirmed to Hód Úszó SE

She started swimming in the footsteps of her brother, Flora Molnar, at the age of five, then achieved excellent results at the European Youth Championships. In 2016, he was at the Rio Olympics, where he competed in the 50-meter freestyle and placed 25th. A year later, he was able to compete in the World Championships, and then spent his college years in Alabama. After that, they moved home, and after she had a baby, she didn’t swim for 2-3 years. Flora Molnar is mainly focused on the 50m butterfly, freestyle and breaststroke events, and wants to be there at next year’s World Lifesaving Championships, which she is currently preparing for with Matej Honor, coach of the Hód Úszó SE team.

I make everything a competition in life, so I really missed elite sports. I’m very happy that the Beavers accepted me, because I was very sad that I didn’t have a team at home with which I could, for example, swim relays. I have already trained with Panna Ugrai, Ákos Horváth and Eszter Veszelovskzi in Budapest, and I am trying to get to know the others as soon as possible – said the swimmer who is now competing in Vassarhelyi colours.

Flora Molnar’s international results to date, World Championships (2017): 10th place (4 x 100m medley relay), 19th place (50m butterfly), 28th place (50m speed). Olympic Games (2016): 25th place (50m fast).. World Junior Championships (2015): Fifth place (50m breaststroke), ninth place (100m breaststroke), and 13th place (50m butterfly). European Short Track Championships (2015): 14th place (100m speed), 34th place (50m speed). European Junior Championships (2014): Fourth place (50m speed), seventh place (100m speed).
