At the same time, Ara: History Untold is a turn-based system

Oxide Interactive is shaking up the established 4X tradition: Ara: History Untold is presented using a simultaneous turn-based system, meaning all players are active in the given role at the same time. The strategy will be implemented in the fall.

Ara: History Untold was finally given a lengthy introduction in the developer live stream. The developers of the turn-based historical strategy have paid attention to many small details, for example, the fact that the architectural style of buildings changes over time.

The main part is the prestige system, which can be affected by several factors. Our recognition can increase with various military actions, but more peaceful players will also find their accounts, as they can use the research tree and technical achievements, and the development of our empire can finally be suitable for science fiction. We can build huge monuments, for example pyramids.

The turn-based system has also been turned on its head: instead of players reacting to each other's moves round by round, here they can issue their orders and moves at the same time, without having to wait for each other. They can also help each other defeat opponents.

Development of Ara: History Untold will not stop until after the premiere in the fall of 2024, and more and more updates are expected. The game will be included in the PC Game Pass offer on day one.
