After each match, the two teams were 1-1 – Denis Shapovalov beat Roman Sviulin in three sets, followed by Daniil Medvedev very smoothly over Felix Auger-Aliassime – and left the final with the duo. In the fierce confrontation throughout the match, the Canadians tied after the first match in which they failed, then got four balls for the match in a very short period, they were able to end the fight with the third.
This is sure to be the new winner in the series, as the Serbs won the first championship in 2020 and the Russians proved themselves the best in 2021. MTI remembered that Canada had never made it to the finals, but Spain was a finalist for two years.
