Attention fans: Justin Bieber will definitely sing at this year’s Sziget Festival

The international superstar will also be performing on the island, according to the organizers, and that’s already confirmed.

Justin Bieber is sure to perform at this year’s Sziget Festival, organizers told MTI on Tuesday. The 28-year-old world famous Canadian singer, who canceled several concerts in June due to an illness that includes facial paralysis. He has now announced that he will be returning to the theatre.

The star singer’s series of Justice World Tour continues on July 31. Justin Bieber will perform at a number of European festivals, and on August 12, he will also hold a concert in Sziget, according to previous plans. After that, he will perform in South America, South Africa, the Middle East, Asia, Australia and New Zealand as part of a world tour, then he will return to Europe in 2023, and in March he will perform at the door of Laszlo Budapest Sportarina.

Sziget’s announcement states that it has long been doubtful whether Bieber will be able to come to the festival. On June 11, he revealed in an Instagram video that half of his face was paralyzed after suffering from Ramsay Hunt Syndrome. This rare disease is caused by the herpes zoster virus, which burrows into the body and becomes active when the immune system is weakened.

“Obviously my body told me to slow down,” said the singer at the time, who tried to relieve symptoms with exercises.

The Canadian singer is one of the stars of the Sziget Festival, which returns in August after a two-year hiatus. In addition to last year’s MTV VMA nominee in most categories, the Grammy Award-winning Canadian international star for Artist of the Year and Best Pop Video, Dua Lipa, Kings of Leon, Calvin Harris, Tame Impala and Arctic Monkeys will also win the Sziget title.
