Attention Xbox Live Gold subscribers: Battlefield 2042 is free for a limited time

Thanks to Microsoft Free Play Days, Xbox Live Gold subscribers now have the opportunity to try DICE for free, albeit for a limited time.

Another batch of games that will be tested as part of Xbox Free Play Days has been revealed, and we have to say one of our shows caught our eye: Battlefield, released just a few weeks ago January 6-9, 2042, to try for free.

This initiative is very similar to the Valve Steam Free weekend promotionsNowadays, Microsoft works with some developers on a regular basis to give those who missed the game a chance to try it out.

The best part is that Not only the less popular indie games are on offer, but also the AAA games that win the hearts of all playersSo this option is perfect for all Xbox Live Gold members.

And while it’s not surprising to see a bigger title, it’s rare for a Battlefield 2042-caliber game to appear on the platform, as we’ve seen games like Ghost Recon: Breakpoint and Borderlands recently .3 debuted over two years ago.

And even though Battlefield 2042 gets huge reviews from playersIt’s still doing well, with 4.23 million copies already in its release week, well ahead of Battlefield 1 and Battlefield 4 sales, although still below Battlefield 3’s sales record.

Perhaps EA released the game a bit hastily, as it’s not at all in the same condition as any previous title that came out during its free-to-play days, and it’s not very stable, despite the fact that the game is entirely dependent on how online multiplayer is played.
