According to the official website of the competition, the total prize money for the tournament is 65 million dollars, and the winner of both sexes will receive 3 million dollars, and those who are eliminated in the first round will receive 81,500 dollars – approximately 29 million forints.

In the women’s category, new free cards were awarded, one of which went to Venus Williams, who won the tournament in 2000 and 2001, the former world leader and ten-time Grand Slam winner. Thus, the 43-year-old American tennis player can already prepare for the 24th US Open in singles, and in total he can start the 93rd Grand Slam tournament in singles – both of them are records.
