Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese announced today, Monday, after meeting with his German counterpart Olaf, that Australia will participate in supplying Ukraine with military and humanitarian supplies with military aircraft stationed in Germany and a military and civilian contingent of up to one hundred people. The mission of the E-7A Wedgetail (a modified Boeing 737) is to monitor multinational logistics centers to provide assistance to Ukraine, among other things. In the next six months, the German-based aircraft with a range of 7,040 km will patrol European airspace.
