Baker’s prison sentence put his former love next to each other

Boros Baker loved women and for a time women loved him too. The former tennis player, a six-time Grand Slam winner, had several children from previous relationships. But now he cannot enjoy paternity, he is serving a two-and-a-half year prison sentence in England for tax evasion. Troubles brought together the former lovers of the 54-year-old, the three-time Wimbledon winner. The charity event called “Salute to Bambi” in Berlin was attended by three of his former partners: Sandy Meyer Fulden, Barbara Becker and Lily Becker. In an interview with German RTL, the first two women spoke publicly about what their relationship is like now.

– I think some people can take an example from them, because our relationship is especially good and respectful, and this state has been going on for a long time – Sandy revealed. – Especially with Lilly, we have developed a close friendship over the past years.

The three women appeared on the red carpet and posed arms in front of the photographers. Barbara Baker revealed that she talks to both of them a lot on the phone.

“We’re really okay, and we have to stay together in trouble, no matter what happened before” Barbara Baker said. Children are our weakest link, but they are also our greatest strength and most important asset. They must be protected from attacks on their father.

For example, Lily – from whom the former athlete has not yet divorced on paper – hid her father’s wrongdoing from their common son Amadeus Becker, but then told him.

“He couldn’t absorb it all, and he still really couldn’t—” Lily Baker revealed. – My heart breaks a little every day, but at the same time, what happened made me a strong, protective tiger. For as long as I could, I didn’t talk about what was going on with her dad at home, but in today’s world, in the age of the Internet, it’s not that long anymore. I thought it would be better if I told him the bad news.

Becker was brought to court in London for tax fraud and bankruptcy: among other things, he hid 2.5 million pounds (1.1 billion forints) from the authorities so that they could not collect his debts – he was sentenced to 2 years and 6 months in prison. After serving his sentence, the Olympic doubles champion will likely be unable to enter the UK, and will be deported from the country.
