Balázs Hankó: We are building the golden team of Hungarian science

“Star Certificate! We're building the Galactic Science Gold Team!” – Balázs Hankó, Minister Responsible for Culture and Innovation, wrote on his Facebook page on Friday regarding physicist Gergely Endródi continuing his work in Hungary.

I am very proud to be able to present the first star of the Calling the Champions Home (Hungarian Research Scholarship) programme, research physicist Gergely Endródi, together with Nobel laureate Professor Ferenc Kraus.

The minister said.

As he wrote, Gergely Endrudi will continue his research in Hungary from now on, at the same time joining Ferenc Kraus, the Golden Scientific Team.

He added that the Bringing Heroes Home program was created so that outstanding Hungarian scientists doing research abroad can continue their world-class research in Hungary.

We do all this in order to renew scientific activity in Europe and Hungary, thus increasing the competitiveness of our country

He wrote, emphasizing that bringing distinguished researchers to the country and creating scientific competitiveness is one of the keys to our future.
