It never hurts to repeat: The two protagonists of the story are Antea Duarte and Red McRith, who lived in the 17th century and dedicated their lives to protecting the living from other spirits and demons. The couple – because they are in love anyway – are very good at their job, but one of their assignments ends tragically: Anthea dies and she herself becomes a ghost. From there, Red MacRith must decide: will he abide by the vow that has defined his entire life or rather will he find a way to bring his love back from the dead.
