The Vásárhelyi Kosársuli men's basketball team finished the previous tournament in fifth place in the NB I./B Green group. The team is already preparing for the new season in full swing, and recently took part in the Lucifer Cup in Nagykőrös, where after losing to Százhalombatta, they won the bronze medal match against Békéscsaba after overtime, 84-80, thus finishing the tournament in third place. The best player of the tournament was Gergő Orgona, the Kosársuli center, who also became the most successful player of the weekend after scoring 35 points in both games.
