– We can say that we were the only ones who stole points from the championship winners from Sekylyudvar and scored a goal for them – Petr Kaglik, president of Berényi Gyermek FC and coach of the team, looked back. – We entered the field against Marosvasareli in such a way that we could play in the final. Since we lost by one goal, we could only play with Shikchiso for fifth place. The final score was 1-1, followed by a penalty shootout, which our team won by five to four. You can't criticize the players, because they did everything for a good result, but so many of them were injured that we didn't even have a replacement.
Petr Kajlik said that before the tournament they first traveled to Venyed, which belongs to the club Szekyljudvárhelyi, where they played a friendly match on a small field with the local team.
– They welcomed us beautifully and entertained us. As part of the entertainment program, we later visited the Mini Transylvanian Park located in Szejkefürdő near Udvarhely, which became the Tourist Destination of the Year in Romania in the category of Experience and Adventure Parks. “We thank the people of Venidi for the welcome, and our hosts in Szekyludvárhelyi for the food and organization,” the club president said.
