Dancing with the Stars Contestants Introduced

TV2 introduced the new members of Dancing with the Stars on Monday, although the identity of the tenth couple has not yet been revealed. Nine couples are confirmed to compete in the fifth season starting at the end of October:

  • Katinka Hoszow and András Sutti
  • Norbert Camaras and Daniela Sipesi
  • Gabor Koksera and Alexandra Stana
  • Luca Mihalevi and Bertalan Hegyes
  • Oliver Pape (Paris Saint-Germain Ogle) and Zsuzsanna Szczuki
  • Antal Striner (Whisperton) and Katika Toth
  • Zsofie Szabo and Andrei Mangra
  • Gabby Toth and Ben Matty Babb
  • Francesca Turczyk and David Baranya

The news about the show was that Anna Meeks withdrew from the competition because she felt her performance would not be about dancing, but about being serious. You can find photos of the competing couples here.

Staying with TV2's super productions, singers from Sztárban Sztár All Stars were also eliminated this week, while Megasztár jury members – such as Magdi Rúzsa or Peti Marics – were already preparing for Sunday's start.

A number of people were affected by the floods.

The historic flood event, the Danube, did not spare even some Hungarian stars: for example, Viktor Varga's house on the waterfront was also washed away this year, and the singer was not even allowed to return home after rehearsals. The business of Fresh Andy and her husband, who run container homes on the Slovak side of the Danube, was at risk, and the fun house in Kalman Nyary was severely damaged on the Pest quay. Meanwhile, Szilard Aigner's widow, Lucia Bartay, was almost in shock because of the flood, you can read more about her here.

Many of them were taken to hospital.

News broke at the beginning of the week that Claudia Liptai had been hospitalized with painful shingles, and it wasn't even certain that she would be able to be a judge on Sztár's Sztár All Stars weekend. Finally, she appeared on air in a special dress that was loose enough, but as it turns out, her recovery could take months.
