At the half-time break for the Euros, Gabor Papp, President of the Hungarian Diving Association (MBSZ), assessed the performance of the Hungarians so far. “Initially, I expected a lot from the finals on the podium, and I said that five victories at the European Championships are included in this national team. Now, in the first half, we have five gold medals and the team still has reserves. I know that each of our rivals is not entirely happy, because they did not win the expected time result or stand on the podium, but the point is that the success of world competitions is mainly determined by the number of medals, and from this point of view, we are fine, ”said Gabor Pap.
The balance of the Hungarian team after two days: 5 gold, 2 silver and 3 bronze.
