FTC-Telekom has signed a contract with Canadian Adam Brady, who will come to Ferencváros from England
for next season.
Adam Brady He was born on the 6th of August 1995 in Delhi, Canada. In 2009, he made his Alliance U15 Tournament debut with the Brantford 99ers U15 AAA team, then played for the U16s the following season, scoring 26+21 points in 30 regular season games, adding another 15 points in 12 playoff games. In the same season, he played with the Hamilton Red Wings in the OJHL (Ontario Junior Hockey League) for three games. He remained a player in Hamilton in the next two seasons as well, in 2011/12 he helped his team reach the playoffs with 22 points in 47 games, and in the 2012/13 season he made more than one point per game, finishing with 45 points. In 40 regular season games. Towards the end of the season, he joined the Caledonia Corverse in the GOJHL (Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League), where he did not disappoint either, finishing the playoffs with nine points after 12 games. He then returned to the OJHL, this time as a player for the Kingston Voyageurs. He produced 60 points in 51 regular season games, then added 15 more points in 15 games in the playoffs. After the brilliant season, he stayed in Kingston for another year, and this time he also excelled, standing on the ice 47 times in the regular season, giving 34 assists and scoring 43 goals, that is, he scored 77 points, which he achieved. It led by another 29 points in 24 playoff games. From 2015, he continued his career in the United States, moving to the Lincoln Star team, and then, due to his studies, continued with the Bemidji State University Beavers a year later, where he was a teammate of the Fitzgerald twins, Leo and Miles, who also previously supported Ferencváros. In his senior season, he was able to celebrate a regular season win in the NCAA’s Outdoor Universities League. After that, he spent three more years in Bemidji, and in the 2020/21 season he moved to the Kansas City Mavericks in the ECHL, where he spent one season. In 2021, he continued in England with the EIHL’s Manchester Storm, where he could average more than a point a game again, helping his team with 60 points in 54 games, but they did not reach the playoffs. His final season was spent with the Nottingham Panthers, however, he had a slightly weaker regular season, scoring only 34 points in 51 games, but still the third-leading scorer on the team. They also made the playoffs with the Panthers, as Brady had four points in four games.
