Video of the incident in Italy shows the moment the bow of the 257-foot luxury yacht commissioned by Laurene Powell Jobs' late husband slowly crashes into the side of the boat owned by Ricardo Salinas.

The luxury yacht designed by Steve Jobs collided with another vessel off the coast of Naples last month. The video was captured and posted on social media on Wednesday by businessman Ricardo Salinas Pliego, Mexico’s third-richest man, who was aboard his private yacht, the Lady Mora, when the collision occurred.

The footage shows the bow of Jobs’ 257-foot (78-meter) yacht Venus drifting alongside the 344-foot (105-meter) Lady Mora as the latter’s crew screams and whistles. “I would like to know what the captain and crew didn’t see, that there was a big yacht like me in front of them,” Salinas wrote in Spanish. “The good thing is that it’s just a scratch, but a big scratch that will cost a lot to fix.”

The Venus, a modest luxury yacht, cost $130 million when it was launched in October 2012, a year after Jobs died of pancreatic cancer. It is now owned by his widow, Laurene Powell Jobs, according to public records.
