A National Center for Reproductive Methodology Research (PTE) will be established at the University of Pécs with an investment of approximately three billion forints.
According to the university’s announcement, the National Center for Research on Reproductive Methodology will be established next year with state support of about HUF 2.8 billion, and family-friendly obstetrics will be established in Pécs. The Investment and Technical Development Corporation, Sports Management and Public Procurement Limited that implements the development is renovating and expanding the Reproductive Center of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic at Pecs University, creating a spacious, modern reception area and doubling the existing number of beds, as well as being created.
Thanks to the developments, care will be provided in the expanded laboratories equipped with the latest equipment, and an independent research laboratory will be established in the clinic.
Attention was drawn to the fact that, thanks to the investment, all maternity wards, the intensive care unit and the wards that underwent a caesarean section will also be renovated. They also completely update the category of the crib, as they are adapted. He said that due to the construction, some relocations and reorganizations will become necessary, in the first step the car parks of the obstetric clinic and the adjacent oncology institute will be closed due to the space requirements of the display buildings and machines.
