the Farm 51 The latest game from the studio, Chernobyl It arrived on Steam in the fall of 2019, then only in early access. It spent a good year and a half in that state, finally reaching its full announced state in the summer of 2021. The game interestingly mixes RPG elements, survival elements, and of course adventure game trappings.
The game is now three years old, which means it's definitely time to talk about a sequel. And that's also what the developers, who dropped the bombshell almost out of nowhere, think today: Chernobyl 2: Exclusion ZoneThe sequel is currently in the works for PC and consoles and could be released next year. Players can once again venture into the infamous Enclosed Zone.
They infiltrate the area filled with many dangers in order to search for a mysterious new material that can only be found here, Chernobylite, which is not only an excellent source of energy, but also very valuable. But since the area is inhabited by dangerous monsters, getting out alive will not be an easy task.
Once again, players can explore vast, realistic areas and retreat to their HQ between missions. They also have to manage this, which will constantly require raw materials from which to craft new items, furniture, and tools. They can also gather a team around themselves, which also needs to be managed.
Chernobylite 2: Exclusion Zone is coming to PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. It's expected to premiere sometime in 2025, but at the moment it's not yet clear if it will also begin its global invasion in Early Access.
