Over the weekend, Orochaz chess players sat at the table in several age groups, from children to adults.
The Orosházi Chess Association finished a busy weekend. On Saturday, young and old sat at the table in Mezőberény, on Sunday, OSE NB II played a championship match in Szeged.
– On Saturday, several chess players from Orocáz participated in the Mezóberény tournament of the “10 Cities of the Hungarian Chess Programme”. In group “A” of approved competitors, 2nd place was taken by: Zoltán Kunos, 3rd place István Biró, 5th place Sándor Kakuk, 6th place Sándor Váczi, 7th place Olivér Czombos (Vörösmarty School), 8th place Péter Szőnyi (Correctional School). In Group C for girls: 1st place Rica Kovacs (Vorosmarti School), for boys: 6th place Bence Molnar (correctional school), 7th place András Szóne (correctional school), 8th place Bence Barath (Vorosmarty School). In group “D” for girls: 1st place Liliána Szloszjár (Vörösmarty School), 2nd place Vivien Csizmadia (Correctional School), 3rd place Hanna Tóth (Correctional School), for boys: 3rd place Flórián Ökrös (Correctional School) – announced by teacher Antal Horvath on behalf of About OSE.
On Sunday, with the great victory of Orosházi SE's NB II in Szeged, they finished fourth in the table, as the best county in Békés.
