China conducts military exercises in a critical location

The middle line served as an unofficial border between China and Taiwan.

Su-30 and J-11 fighters were among the “boundary-breaching” aircraft.

Taiwanese officials had expected China to resume military exercises around the island after Taiwanese Vice President William Lai visited the United States in August. Taiwan says that Beijing is using these operations to intimidate voters before the presidential elections next January.

Lage, who leads the list of popularity of presidential candidates, said in an interview broadcast on Saturday: The 2024 elections will be a decision between democracy and authoritarianism. Lai said: It is not China’s job to decide who wins the elections, because this goes against the very essence of Taiwanese democracy. He added: Beijing has no reason to “make a fuss” about Taiwanese leaders’ trips abroad.

In my opinion, Taiwan is not part of the People’s Republic of China

Lag confirmed.

He pointed out: China has wanted to embrace the island for a long time, and this is not a new problem.

China considers strategically important Taiwan, which has had an independent government since 1949, as part of its territory.

The United States on Saturday called on China to “stop military, diplomatic and economic pressure” on Taiwan. The State Department in Washington added that it continues to closely monitor Chinese military exercises.
