Cities: Skylines II patch has begun

As is known, it was released recently Massive systemlatest game r, Cities: Skylines II. The studio had already predicted in the days leading up to the premiere that they weren’t ready with everything, but regardless, they would release the game. Everyone was asked to keep in mind: there will still be bugs and optimization issues at the time of premiere. Well, their expectations came true, which at the same time were only taken into account by the press, not the players. This is reflected in the fact that the first reviews of the game from the press were quite positive, while the fans on Steam were very strict and put its likeness index to the ground.

Naturally, all this does not discourage the developers, who promise that they will change the game as quickly as possible. As a first step, the first update has arrived, with bug fixes and optimization improvements. This isn’t a particularly large and comprehensive patch package, rather the creators only addressed a handful of issues that are considered more significant.

As is On the Paradox Interactive Forum From the published description, it’s clear that LOD changes have been used to improve stability at higher resolutions, and fog, depth of field, and global illumination have also been improved. They smoothed out obstacles caused by houses under construction and other phenomena, and also fixed some known bugs.

More updates of similar size and caliber can be expected in the near future, but we can be sure that a more far-reaching fix package will arrive soon. The just-released update is currently only available via Steam, but will soon be available for the version purchased from the Microsoft Store.
