The beverage giant launched the recall last month after discovering that 13,152 cases of Minute Maid Zero Sugar Lemonade were mislabeled. As an indication of the seriousness of the problem, a drink that is supposed to be sugar-free actually contains 40 grams of sugar per 12 ounces (about 355 ml),
This is the same sugar content as the brand's full-sugar lemonade.
The mislabeled products were shipped to retail stores in Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio, the FDA said in a statement. Coca-Cola quickly responded to the issue and removed all affected cans from shelves.
