Pat Cortina, captain of the Hungarian women’s ice hockey team, which will play two warm-up matches against the Austrians next week, has invited three new players to her team.

The Canadian specialist announced his list of 24 names on Thursday. 16 of those invited played in the World Cup Group A finals, while Zofia Chelipko, Karina Karpaty and Simone Viktoria are yet to be selected.

According to a report on the Hungarian Federation’s website, the team will prepare for two days in Hungary next week, then travel to Villach on Thursday, where it will face the home team on Friday and Saturday. The Austrian national team will also be a competitor in the World Cup in April.
