The patent may indicate this, but let’s not forget that these things do not always make them usable.
The Nintendo Switch could have great sales (and so far it gets excellent exclusives: the last time Super Mario Bros. Wonder got that mark, the next will likely be a remake of Square-developed Super Mario RPG), but given age And the technical limitations of devices released six and a half years ago, time is slowly running out, so the Japanese company will have to discontinue the Switch soon, or at least bring the successor to stores, about which we have already heard a fair number of rumors (including the date Possible release, plus Free Day which seems stupid)…
GameRant has reported on a new patent protected by Nintendo. The device looks similar to the Nintendo 3DS, or even more to the DS product line: we can see two displays on the device. They are detachable and can communicate with each other wirelessly, i.e. without wires. We can also find a touch screen on branded devices, through which it will be possible to operate the console even in the “closed” state.
If Nintendo Switch 2 (its official name is still unknown) can truly take on the DS theme, the best titles from the DS and 3DS game catalog can be downloaded onto Nintendo Switch Online. According to rumours, the Switch successor will also support Nvidia DLSS 3.5 Ray Reconstruction, so it may have better ray tracing options than the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series We are working on other features that would be better received on a new hybrid platform.
Devices that come after the Nintendo Switch are expected to be released sometime during the next business year. Maybe it will be available from September 24, maybe from October, who knows… but we can slowly prepare to start marketing it.
