The Bohus-Lugossy Foundation, which is responsible for implementing the IYG programmes, has commissioned Mitte Communications with communications tasks for the IYG in Hungary. During the career year, the agency’s mission is to promote glass materials, the millennium’s historical past, the most prominent values of science and the arts, and Hungarian creators, according to Company Communications.
The Bohus-Lugossy Foundation, which performs the professional functions of the International Year of Glass in Hungary, aims to increase local and international awareness and recognition of contemporary Hungarian glass art.
The Bohus-Lugossy Foundation has approached three agencies in carrying out its outreach missions, and based its decision on their experience in professional, cultural and artistic life.
Under the mandate, Mitte will promote IYG’s national programs and themes, the cultural, architectural, innovative and economic role of glass, past achievements and future opportunities.
