Ctrl Alt Ego – Close to console look

The introspective logic game, which has been available on Steam for two years, in which we transfer our consciousness between devices, has finally arrived on consoles, and in a few days it will be available on Xbox and Playstation.

There is a long line of introspective logic games, which also includes Ctrl Alt Ego, and if we rely on the Steam reviews (94% result in two years), we can see that we are dealing with a fair creation.

During the game, we have to thrive in a setting reminiscent of the images of low-budget English sci-fi series from the 70s and 80s. The main gameplay element (which we can do with the help of “currency” here) is that we can transfer our consciousness between robots and devices, which is essential to solve logical puzzles. The game offers many ways to progress, it does not want to impose stealth or face-to-face confrontation on the player, but rather leaves it up to us to want to thrive.

In the traditional sense, we won't be able to die during the game, our “consciousness” will just transfer to a new host body, however, the save/load option is not missing for “traditional thinkers”, the game's datasheet declares.

Ctrl Alt Ego will be released on September 24 for Xbox Series X/S and Playstation 5 consoles, and will be available for PC starting in July 2022. Speaking of news, a new video has also been received from the creators.
