Netflix offers a payment commitment in five countries in Latin America for those who sign in with a single password.

For an additional monthly fee, you can use the same Netflix account in five Latin American countries starting next month – Argentina, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras. The service provider adds the so-called “add a home” option to its services, which will, however, be cheaper than the subscription itself.

According to Netflix estimates, its users share their login data with nearly a hundred million households, and thus they can access the service for free. Therefore, Basic Package subscribers can add one subscriber, two Standard subscribers, and Premium subscribers three additional “homes” to their subscription, reports diverse.

According to estimates, Netflix could generate up to $1.6 billion, or 625 billion forints, in additional revenue each year if it charges a fee for password-sharing worldwide.
