The first and second students were held in Zalaegerszeg. Regional Student Olympic Finals for Transdanubian Wrestlers of the age group, more than two hundred contestants participated in the competition. Among the participants were athletes from DKSE and its subdivisions (Gurics György BDSE, Enying VSE), who represented themselves in the competition with a very large number of distinctions, twenty-seven people.
In addition to the large number of competitors, the children’s party organized at the same place and time, among other reasons, extended the day of the competition to the length of the marathon, which made it difficult for young athletes to concentrate. Despite this, the kids fought with great honor and effectiveness, twenty of them qualified for the national finals, until our guys finished the competition with four gold, one silver, and nine bronze medals.
