Blizzard’s Battle.net service has suffered major disruptions due to a DDoS attack affecting several popular Blizzard titles, including World of Warcraft and Overwatch 2.



While Battle.net makes it easy to quickly play online with friends, having all your games running on the same background can also cause a headache if things aren’t working the way you want them to. Yesterday, Blizzard’s Battle.net service was the target of a DDoS attack, causing major disruptions to several Blizzard games, the attack. Caused login issues and slowness.

After the announcements, Blizzard determined that the problems were indeed caused by a DDoS attack and stated that they were “actively working to mitigate the problem”.
