Motion Twin still has no intention of releasing dead cells. They shared the latest roguelike roadmap, revealing what’s new this year and promising that 2023 will be the biggest year yet.
It’s been four years since Motion twin released Dead Cells, which has been consistently supported in various ways since then – whether it’s a massive paid DLC pack (the most recent was released in January of this year) or smaller updates like the latest Assist mode, which makes access To roguelike more easily. However, the studio still has no plans to stop supporting the game.
Last post this week road map, which mainly contains the updates expected this year. In the summer, for example, we can expect a slight balancing of devices and a panchaku consisting of frying pans, in the fall there will be a Boss Rush game mode, and in the winter they prepare for a yet-to-be-determined surprise. For 2023, we’re promised it will be the biggest year for Dead Cells since its release.
As the Motion Twin says, they’ve come up with a roadmap now so players can see that The Queen and the Sea wasn’t the game’s last kicks – in fact, we’re actually only in the middle of Dead Cells’ lives.
