The last tournament of the 2023/24 season is played by DVSC II., namely NB III. In the 30th round of the North-East Group, they welcomed Tiszavored on Sunday, at the legendary Ole Gábor Utca Stadium.
The match started with a quick change in goals, and after the break both teams could have scored another goal. In the end, Tiszafüred managed to do just that, and the result was a defeat to Debrecen, with Little Loki also finishing a prestigious fourth in the points chase.
Coach Peter Mattei: Looking at the whole season, I have to congratulate the team because they improved in every way. Fourth place is realistic based on performance, and I'm glad we were able to work with these guys. I am confident that as many students as possible can show themselves in a higher category.
