Delete these apps immediately if you love your phone!

The malware that clicks on ads in the background has fooled itself on twenty million devices.

McAfee identified 16 malicious applications. The apps have bypassed the Google Play Protection system. They generated a total of 20 million downloads, the most popular (and well-reviewed) being DxClean, which advertised itself as a malware remover and performance booster, but did just the opposite. Apps are clickers, i.e. software that clicks on ads without the user’s knowledge – hence the name – and thus generates revenue for the creators.

McAfee warns that this could have serious consequences: Decreased performance, overheating, increased battery usage, and if you run out of data, the extra data traffic appears in your mobile phone bill. Google has removed the apps, but they can still be on millions of phones, since they can only be accessed from the Store, users have to delete them.

here they are:

  • high speed camera
  • Smart Task Manager
  • flashlight +
  • 달력 마모 장
  • K-Dictionary
  • Busan Bus
  • flashlight +
  • Quick Notes
  • currency converter
  • Joy Code
  • This is Decca
  • Instagram Profile Downloader
  • These are notes
  • 소전 등
  • Calculation
  • flashlight +

If you suspect that an app is or is on it, check your data balance, delete what you need and install the malware removal tool!
