Dangerous app in the app store
The problematic app pretends to be a popular password manager called LastPass, which has since disappeared from the Store. On the other hand, it can cause serious problems for those who downloaded it.
So far, there are no indications that LassPass stole credentials from users, but sensitive data such as passwords, email addresses, residential addresses and bank card information could be entered through the fields that appear in the app, and it was also possible to sign up for an in-app subscription service. also HWSW wrote about this issue.

According to the real LastPass, the problem — in addition to its developer not being LogMeIn — is that it copied the original software and its visuals throughout, and there were only a few typos in the software, 24.hu said.
According to information from the Applefigures analysis platform, the application appeared on January 21, so anyone could download it from the App Store for several weeks. However, users noticed the issue and many reviews warned that this is not the real app. LogMeIn then reported the issue to Apple.
