Trump has once again set the EU up for profit. The former president has praised the leaders of China, Russia and North Korea as “at the top of their game,” geopolitical expert Csaba Kancz, a regular contributor to our newspaper group Classis Media, wrote in his memoir on Wednesday.
According to Hungarian time, it was broadcast on Channel X at dawn on Monday. In his two-hour interview, Donald Trump has played his cards, though that hasn’t made Europe any calmer. Speaking to Elon Musk, the former president said: “The EU is taking advantage of us, and we’re protecting them,” and hinted that under his presidency, European countries would have to contribute more money to NATO.
“I made it very clear during my presidency from 2016 to 2020: Pay up or we will no longer protect you,” he added. “We have a $250 billion annual trade deficit with the European Union that people don’t know about,” Trump said. “It sounds very nice — the European Union, but let me tell you: They’re not as tough as China, but they’re bad” (sic).
The former president also praised the leaders of China, Russia and North Korea as “at the top of their game,” and Trump said domestic “enemies” were “more dangerous” than foreign adversaries like Russia and China. He then accused Democrats of planning a “coup” to replace Biden for the presidential nomination, to which Musk responded by saying the party “took Biden behind the shed and shot him.”
