Dozens of hurricanes devastated the United States at the same time

Omaha police said in a statement that several homes in neighboring Douglas County were damaged after the tornado struck Friday afternoon.

There were no deaths as a result of the hurricane, but there were some injuries They added, noting that Omaha's warning system appears to be working effectively.

Media reports said that about 70 people were rescued from an industrial facility that collapsed in the storm in Lancaster County, southwest of Omaha.

Another tornado crossed the Missouri River into Iowa, eastern Nebraska, causing severe damage to several communities, including a community called Minden.

At least 60 tornadoes and tornadoes were reported in five states, according to CNN.

US Weather Service forecasts also warned of strong tornadoes and stormy weather on Saturday. Tornadoes are common in some areas of the United States, but according to experts, the increase in the number of natural disasters, including storms, floods and wildfires, is mainly due to climate change.
