Dwyane Wade celebrates another big win with family.

The retired NBA star, 42, was joined by his wife Gabrielle Union and daughter Zaya on Thursday, May 9, as the two attended the Netflix Is A Joke 2024 festival to support him.

The family came out for When we meetwhich was a night of stand-up performances hosted by the basketball legend at the Miracle Theater in Inglewood, California.

“When we get together, it's just joke upon joke upon joke,” said Wade and the Netflix stalwart, with the caption Joint position On Instagram on May 10, photos of Wade's crew smiling together appear. “Dwyane Wade had a great show last night at #netflixjoke“.

In the post, the Hall of Fame athlete snapped a photo of Larry O'Brien's championship trophy, his family members, and comedian Lil Rel Howery, who hosted the event. Wade wore a white jacket, baggy brown pants, and white sneakers as he stood next to his wife and 16-year-old daughter.

Union, 51, wore a red latex dress with a gold necklace, while Zaya opted for a white shirt and skirt combo, a black leather jacket, black shades and some brown boots to tie it all together.

The former Heat player's mother, Jolinda Wade, was also in attendance, wearing a pink suit and a white button-up underneath. In addition to the snaps Wade posted on Instagram, the family was also photographed together on the red carpet and inside the event.

Wade also participated With Netflix Before the event, the outing marked his “first time” – along with his production company – venturing into the world of comedy.

“Laughter transcends differences and cultivates connection,” he said of the event, which reportedly featured the likes of Chris Spencer and Janelle James.When we meet It's all about bringing people together to connect through a shared love of comedy. And while not all of Wade's children were in attendance at their father's event, they all seemed to support their parents. For her look this year — a mermaid-like gown — her 5-year-old daughter, Kaavia, served as inspiration, Union told PEOPLE during the Met Gala on Monday, May 6.

“This is inspired by her,” Union Kavya said. “She's a water baby, she loves the water. She'd say, 'Mommy, you look like a mermaid!'”

Monday's fashion show marked the fifth time Union and Wade have attended the Met Gala as a couple. To fit into this year's dress code for “The Garden of Time,” Wade complimented his wife's Michael Kors turtleneck dress with a purple Versace suit of his own.
