“three.” At best, the opposite of the slogan “Ukraine’s future is our future” is true, and there is more to it than the unfortunate wording. In her speech, Ursula von der Leyen consistently subjugates the EU to Ukraine. It is quite clear that the EU should support Ukraine as much as it can. It is also clear that the struggle of Ukrainians for their country deserves recognition. However, Oliver Hortay emphasized that these do not justify a European leader placing Ukraine over the society he represents.
According to the business manager, the previous subsidies and the package just announced clearly show that it is not the European Union that Ukraine needs, but the opposite.
This is not an ethical issue. This is the reality. Századvég expert said Ursula von der Leyen’s allusion is not only a denial of reality, but also an insult to Europeans. According to Oliver Hortay, the statement clearly shows that some EU leaders are sitting on the other side of the horse.
– We can really be proud of the fact that we support Ukraine beyond our means, but we must not lose sight of the fact that we are primarily responsible for ourselves. A Europe dependent on others cannot help anyone effectively. The business manager added that it would be good if the President of the European Commission understood this.
