The fate of nearly 30,000 birds is uncertain.

The presence of the H5N1 subtype of avian influenza virus was detected in Gyor Mosun Sopron County by the laboratory of the National Food Chain Safety Office (NBI).

At the turkey fattening farm located in Pune, which includes approximately 26,500 animals, the bloating of the animal and the increased mortality rate raised suspicions among animal breeders. The infected herd is being liquidated and epidemiological investigation is underway. A 3-kilometre-wide protection zone has been allocated around the farm, and a 10-kilometre-wide surveillance zone has been established.

According to Nabih, the current and previous cases prove that the highly contagious bird flu virus still exists in the country. As written, the protection and control zones have begun to be lifted in some affected areas, epidemic discipline must not be relaxed, and everything must be done to ensure that no more poultry farms are affected by the epidemic.
