The forint weakened on Friday morning against the major currencies compared to the previous evening’s exchange rate in international foreign exchange trade.

The euro was priced at 398.20 HUF after 397.26 HUF at 7 am, the dollar rose from 390.13 HUF at 7 pm Thursday to 391.07 HUF, and the Swiss franc was priced at 403.68 HUF after 402.33 HUF.

The forint was 0.2 percent weaker than its exchange rate at seven o’clock Thursday evening against the euro and the dollar at seven o’clock on Friday morning, and 0.3 percent weaker against the Swiss franc.

At the Friday morning exchange rate, the forint is 0.7 percent stronger than it was at the start of the week against the euro, 1.6 percent stronger against the dollar and 0.9 percent stronger against the Swiss franc.
