He had previously visited Budapest in 2019, where he performed at the Sziget Festival as one of the headliners. Calum Scott and Zedda performed in front of the global star, who already set the stage for the fierce atmosphere at the concert in Puskás Square.

Ed Sheeran arrived shortly after, was warmly welcomed in the arena, and performed on stage amidst fireworks and other spectacular elements. Sheeran did not leave it to chance, as he tried hard to please his Hungarian fans, first playing in a black T-shirt with the inscription Budapest, and then also wearing a Hungarian T-shirt during the evening as a surprise – writes the Mandarin.
