He is not at all satisfied with the system that he did not keep for himself.
Microsoft is doing everything it can to steer users toward Windows 11. Despite the efforts of Redmond residents, the latest online statistics show that fewer people are using the operating system, let alone the Edge browser, which has shown a downward trend since last November.
Of course, it was not without reason that enthusiasm waned. One of the critical points regarding the operating system has been the Start menu from the beginning — which is why it caused some bewilderment when the company recently mentioned it as a system fixer that had never been seen before.
Recently, one of Microsoft's former Windows developers, Andy Young, commented on Windows 11, complaining about its performance. On the Twitter/X page, the developer explained a situation where Windows 11 and the Start menu search box were completely disabled.
And in the video, you can see how after opening the menu, the service search field completely abandoned, despite Young's attempts to enter anything there. The problem persisted after closing and reopening the menu, until Windows took long seconds to display search results.
The Windows 11 Start menu is comically bad.
This machine has a 00 Core i9 CPU and 128GB of RAM and this is the performance I get most often.

The developer explained in a later post that despite all his problems, he still loves Windows and sticks with it, not least because he was once involved in setting up some parts of the code. He also added that he wants Windows to be “as good as it was before,” perhaps a subtle reference to the Windows 7 era.
“When data shows that the software you created frustrates a large percentage of users, it means there is more work to be done.”
– Young said In her entry.
