The first round of the NFL preseason brought a game for which, one might say without exaggeration, no one was ready. Jacksonville Jaguars third quarterback Nathan Rourke rocked four men (!) and threw a magical touchdown to give Florida the victory.

Jacksonville took a 22-16 lead and was already in the red zone in the final minutes of the fourth quarter against the Dallas Cowboys, and had to resolve a very difficult game on third and 16 to keep the offense alive. However, at the time, the third-ranked Florida quarterback showed a game that even two-time Super Bowl winner Patrick Mahomes would envy, throwing a 21-yard touchdown pass while nearly lying on the ground, pushing four defenders aside, securing a Jags victory. (28-22).

Incidentally, the replacement qb was drafted to the Canadian League in 2020 and has played there at an outstanding level since then, while Jacksonville announced in January that it was moving the 25-year-old through to the 2023 season. One thing is for sure, with this performance, Rourke has stepped up. in the ranks of the team.
