When he was in high school, he was not interested in media at all and still saw his future in wrestling, then he started his higher education at Henrik Havas Budapest Institute of Media. He then moved to Szeged, where he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Humanities majoring in English Communication. At the age of 20, he fell into the world of media, because an acquaintance suggested he go to the Z+ music TV casting; He was also hired.
It was on this channel that he got his first show, Megálló, which was a security program. The gist of it was that he traveled the country with the crew and fulfilled the wishes of the civilians. In 2007, a video containing deleted scenes from Megálló was released.
No wonder they didn’t want to include this in the show, because Baláz constantly swears and is insensitive about it, speaking rudely and insulting people on the street. Later, Balazs would repeatedly confirm that he was very ashamed of himself at the time, but of course the video has been around the internet ever since, and new comments are still coming in today.
“What a great career Baláz guys can have with videos like this on YouTube today”
“A lot of people write here that he has changed … and the horses’ gear. I remember when the head of the hunting chamber, who by the way may have been his father, was discredited in such a way that I felt ashamed. The next day they read a letter from him in which he was defending himself and making fun of him again That was the last time I listened to his rubbish that morning. Life would give him a stinking slap in the face, but even his children could take care of him.”
Then he got his own talk show on RTL, the popular Balázs Show, similar to Monica’s Show. There are also plenty of memorable scenes from this aforementioned, including when Erzsike’s medication breaks a bit in the studio and she falls like a fool for her ex and partner at the time. The legendary sentence was also uttered in this broadcast:
“I will conclude this when these two are in mental anguish.”
Balázs Sebestyén currently hosts his own morning show on Rádió1 with Feri Rákóczi and Jani Vadon, but he is also often on RTL; Now in the new season of Come Over.
