In order to protect Hungarian consumers and clarify the circumstances, Pence Tosson ordered an official inspection at the Budapest City Government Office (BFKH), which has the official task of consumer protection, against several airlines that were involved in the aviation accidents witnessed in recent days – the Ministry of Justice announced. In a statement with MTI.
“The safety of the Hungarian people during their vacations, trips and sporting events is also of paramount importance,” said Bence Tüzün, head of the Ministry of Justice. “All airlines operating in Hungary must comply with Hungarian and EU laws and regulations. They must do everything in their power to ensure that passengers receive adequate service and information. Omissions that harm passengers are unacceptable, and we will take decisive and strict measures against them in the future,” the IM announcement said.
Airlines involved: Ryanair DAC, Eurowings GmbH, Wizz Air Hungary Zrt., SunExpress.
