It was decided to create exclusive residential parking areas Josefaros municipality. The new parking regulations will come into effect first in the Al Qasr area.
In the new system, parking is available in a maximum of 30% of the parking spaces around the building designated for apartments from 6:00 pm to 7:00 am only for those with a public parking permit. In the Palais district, 332 exclusive evening parking spaces will be created out of the 1,180 parking spaces that can be used with the residence permit. According to the municipality, construction could start the week of June 19th.
As a result of the territorial distribution, an exclusive residential parking area will not be created on Paros, Trevort, Marcos Emilia, Muzeum, Otbakserta, Revicki, Sandor Šeber and Kiss Saletrum streets. At the same time, it will also begin to designate 5 new concentrated loading areas in parking lots, exclusively for loading activities, and related traffic engineering measures in the palace area.
In addition, in front of Molnár Ferenc’s Hungarian-English bilingual primary school on Pila Somogyi Street, the municipality has also designated so-called “Puszi és Pá” parking spaces, which are intended to help parents drive their children to school.
