There was a fatal accident on the M1 highway Friday morning. Police said on their website that the highway was closed in the Babelna area. The efy passenger car collided with a roadside truck that was traveling in the parking lane.

According to the announcement made by the Komarom County Police Command – Esztergom, two cars collided on a section of the M1 highway leading to Gyor shortly before eight o’clock.
It was later reported that one of the trucks on the side of the road was driving down the parking lane, which was hit by a car 90 kilometers away. The passenger in the car, a 38-year-old man, was so badly injured that he lost his life at the scene. The car driver and the truck driver were seriously injured.
The circumstances of the accident are investigated by the police, with the participation of an expert.
