Ferenc Faludi Jesuit Academy launches a series of forums to protect creativity Hungarian Post

the comprehensive environment On the first occasion of the series, Jesuit Gabor Nevelos and Joseph Benedek, Director of the Research Center for Sustainable Development in Cluj-Napoca, will speak about the partnership between faith and science.

The new series is a program for the protection and sustainable development of the Hungarian Jesuits, launched by the FFJA with an eight-part series of scholarly forums. In the first half of 2022, university professors, researchers, church and lay leaders, monks searching for an answer to Pope Francis Laudato Si Issues such as climate change, poverty, green economy, sustainable living and social justice.

In the first forum, on January 27, Joseph Benedek, Professor at the University of Miskolc, Director of the Center for Sustainable Development Research in Cluj-Napoca and Gabor Nevelos, Teaching Assistant at Ferenc Faludi Jesuit Academy, will speak about the relationship between faith and science.

Signing up is free, but pre-registration is required. The required online form can be completed by noon on January 26, 2022 at the latest.

The forums will be held in a mixed manner, that is, in accordance with current epidemiological regulations, you will be given the opportunity to participate in person in the Dialogue House, but all events will be online and recorded presentations will be available on the FFJA website.

They are waiting for occasions for everyone who cares about our common home, preserving the earth, respecting creativity, caring for sustainable development and eco-friendly agriculture.

The forums will be followed by the publication of a study volume, the creation of a network for the protection of creation in the Carpathian Basin, and a scientific communications campaign to educate the community.
